MISS BENTON DEAD.

  Miss Nettie Benton of Blair avenue died yesterday afternoon at 12:40 
o'clock from influenza, which followed a lingering illness from 
complications with which she was seized about five months ago.  She was 
a daughter of Harry and Josephine Benton and was born at Ironsville, 
Jan. 25, 1897.  She was a member of the United Brethren church and when 
in health worked at the Wilson Chemical plant here.  She leaves her 
parents, five sisters and one brother, who are: Mrs. Catherine Fuoss, 
Eliza, Catherine, Cora, Mary and Claude.  Funeral and interment will 
take place at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
