JOHN F. BERKEY

  Funeral services for John F. Berkey of 707 Twenty-fourth street, who died at 
5 A.M. yesterday, will be conducted at the Carson Valley Church of he Brethren 
at 2:30 P.M., Thursday.  The cortege will leave the home in this city at 1:30 
P.M.  The Rev. W. R. Maines, pastor of the Fairview Church of Christ, will 
officiate.  Burial will be made in Carson Valley cemetery.  The body may be 
viewed at the home until the time of the funeral.  Deceased was born September 
24, 1859, in Indiana county.  He was the son of Elijah and Elizabeth Berkey, 
both deceased.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Berkey; two sisters, Mrs. 
Ellen Langham, of Newry; and Mrs. Mary Diehl, of Duncansville.  He was a member 
of the Church of Christ.
