CATHERINE M. "GINGER" BERRY 

  Mrs. Catherine "Ginger" Berry, 52, of 414 Teaberry Street, Tyrone, 
died Wednesday evening at her home after an extended illness.
  She was born October 1, 1950, in Altoona, the daughter of the late 
William and Clara (Merritts) Weyant. She married Joseph L. Berry Sr., 
in Maryland. He died July 31, 1998.
  Mrs. Berry enjoyed dancing and bingo.
  Surviving are two daughters: Nichole McElwain of Tyrone and Susan of 
Bellwood; three sons: Joseph Jr., Willard T., and John C., all of 
Tyrone; a sister Susan Leberfinger of Everett; and brothers Rodger of 
Berlin and Robert of Hollidaysburg.
  She was also survived by 14 grandchildren.
  Friends will be received tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the Sorge Funeral 
Home, 422 N. Juniata Street, Hollidaysburg. The funeral service will be 
held tonight at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Elizabeth Hess 
officiating. Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
