James E. Berry, a native of Altoona residing in Kenmoor, died unexpectedly of 
a heart attack in his home at 4:15 p.m. Monday.  He was born June 22, 1914, a 
son of William and Sylvia (Stauffer) Berry and married Amber Shaffer of 
Kerrmoor.  Surviving are his wife, four children, Paul of Garrettsville, Ohio, 
Mrs. Lulu Belle Myers of Kent, Ohio, Theodore of Clearfield and Mrs. Karen 
Harnish of Ravenna, Ohio; fur grandchildren, and six brothers and sisters, 
Mrs. Dorothy Bryan of Philadelphia, Theodore and Mrs. Grace Balasco of 
Altoona, Mrs. Edith Bechdel of Howard, Willard of Bellwood, and Clifford of 
Levittown.  Mr. Berry was employed in the Clearfield brick plant.  Friends are 
being received in the McCracken Funeral Home, Mahaffrey.
