SAMUEL W. BEVAN.

  Samuel W. Bevan, a former resident of Altoona, but who for the last 
three years had lived in Jersey City, died at 2 o'clock yesterday 
afternoon, after an illness which extended over a period of one year.  
He was about 55 years of age and a member of Centennial castle, No. 
204, Knights of the Golden Eagle, and of Blair lodge, No. 281, Knights 
of Pythias.
