Her sudden death ended an event in which she was taking great delight, the entertainment of a trio of old friends from Cleveland O., Mr. and Mrs. Durell Norton and Mrs. Norton's mother, at her home. The visit of the Nortons had been promised for some years but had materialized only this week. Yesterday Mrs. Bingham took great delight in showing the visitors the scenic beauties of the city and vicinity, the party visiting Kittanning Point, Wopsy and Spruce Creek, returning to the home last evening. Mrs. Bingham had not even spoken of being tired following the return and her death occurred without warning as she was preparing to retire. She was born in East Freedom on July 5, 1882, a daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Feather) Conrad. Her husband died seven years ago and since then she had resided in the city with her sister and brother. Earlier she had lived in Chicago for many years. Surviving are seven brothers and sisters, Mrs. Allen Lingenfelter of East Freedom, Frank Conrad, at the home, William of Eldorado, Mrs. Harry Butcher of Upper Darby, Thomas and Charles of the city and Miss Daisy Conrad, principal of the Wright school, at home. Mrs. Bingham was a member of the Second Lutheran church, the Friendship class of the Sunday school, White Shrine and Eastern Start. The body may be viewed at the home.
