Black of Claysburg, R.D., died last night at 11 o'clock at the Nason hospital, death being attributed to a complication of ailments. She was the daughter of Harrison and Jennie (Claar) Ickes and was born on June 2, 1900. She was united in marriage with Mr. Black, who survives, with these children: Harry, Durwood, Carl, Michale and Shirley, and an infant daughter, all at home, and these step-children: Ralph Black of Altoona, Leon Black of Philadelphia and Guy Black at Langley field, Virginia. Also surviving are these sisters and brother: Earl Ickes and Mrs. Mary Sanders of Akron, O., Mrs. Elizabeth Langham of Bedford and Mrs. Hattie Swales of Philadelphia. Mrs. Black was a member of the Claysburg Lutheran church and of the Ladies' Aid society. Friends will be received at the home after 6 o'clock this evening. BLACK - Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Black of Claysburg, R.D., will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Claysburg Lutheran church in charge of the pastor, Rev. L. J. Karach.
