MYRTLE BLACK Of 549 Fifty-seventh street, died at 7.10 o'clock last evening in the Altoona hospital, where she had been a patient since Dec. 7. She was born in Bedford county Sept. 6, 1888, a daughter of Monroe and Annie (Miller) Cable. Her husband, William A. Black, died eight years ago. Mrs. Black had resided in the city for a number of years. Surviving are one brother and one sister, Stuart Cable of Schellsburg and Mrs. Thomas Imler of Osterburg, two nieces and three nephews. Mrs. Black was a member of the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist church, the Donnelly Bible class and the auxiliary to the P.O.S. of A. Friends may call at the Lafferty funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
