Black died at his home in Pittsburgh on Tuesday morning, death being caused by a complication of diseases. He was a brother of Mrs. Anna M. Cowley of Howard avenue and First street. He was aged 56 years and was well known in this city. The remains will be brought here for interment. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, December 5, 1918 BLACK. William H. Black, aged 51 years, a son of David and Mary Black, deceased, and a former resident of this city, died at East Liberty on Tuesday. Death resulted from bronchial trouble. The remains were brought to this city to the home of a sister, Mrs. Anna Cowley, 113 Howard avenue, from which place funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be made in Fairview cemetery. His wife and these brothers and sisters survive: John F., Juniata, George W., Cleveland; Mrs. Sadie Richardson, Juniata and Mrs. Cowley, of this city.
