Mr. Blackburn was employed as a clerk in the C.P.R. department of the Penelec Company, was a veteran of Army service in World War I, a member of the Hollidaysburg American Legion and Heidelberg County Club, and of the Methodist faith. His wife, the former Beatrice M. Fletcher, survives as do a son and daughter, Mrs. Beverly Gunsallus of the city and Thomas of Huntingdon; seven grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Confer of Ebensburg.
