BLACKBURN Of 117 Basin street, Hollidaysburg, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at 12.45 o'clock. He was the son of Henry M. and Mary A. Blackburn and was born July 4, 1870, at Williamsburg. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company as assistant shop foreman for about forty-two years, retiring in 1935. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. F. R. Confer of Ebensburg; one son, T. Irvin Blackburn of Altoona; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Hollidaysburg Methodist church. Friends are being received at the Creamer & Van Allman funeral home. BLACKBURN - Funeral services for Mr. William E. Blackburn of 117 Basin street, Hollidaysburg, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the Creamer & Van Allman funeral home in charge of Rev. G. H. Ketterer of the Methodist church.
