Ralph Garfield Blair, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Blair, of 213 East First avenue, died yesterday morning at 3:30 o'clock of a complication of diseases, after an illness of some months. He was born in this city on August 11, 1892, and had of late resided at Braddock, being employed by the Union Switch and Signal company of Swissvale until his enlistment in the 258th aero squadron in December, 1917. He trained at Waco, Tex., Fairfield, O., and Hampstead, where he was taken with his last illness when about to set sail. He received an honorable discharge on September 24, 1918. His wife, Mrs. Corene Minster Blair, of this city, survives, with the parents and these brothers and sisters: Raymond, of Braddock, with the A.E.F. in Italy; William S., of Braddock; Jerry G., of Cleveland, O.; Mrs. Emmett O'Connell, of Tiffin, O., and Mrs. Maude Adams, of this city. He was a member of the First Church of Christ. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, conducted by Rev. David Lockart. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
