M. Blake, of 1306 Fifth avenue, at 9.30 o'clock last night of a complication of diseases incident to advanced age. He was born at Duncansville, April 15, 1850, a son of Samuel and Margaret Anne Blake. He had resided at Port Matilda for more than thirty years, for some years engaging in farming. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha (Stevens) Blake, at the Port Matilda home; one daughter and one son, Mrs. W. L. Hutchinson and W. J. Blake of Cleveland, O., one grandchild and one great-grandchild. The aged man was brought to this city two weeks ago when his illness became serious. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the nephew's home. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, June 10, 1930, page 28
