BLENDL Of 1532 First avenue, died at 12.25 o'clock this morning at his home after an extended illness. He was born in Hollidaysburg on april15, 1879, a son of Sebastian and Mary Blendl, and was employed as a machinist in the Altoona works, retiring in 1938, after thirty-nine years' service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace M. (Wilmore) Blendl; one son and one daughter, Mrs. Harry Fels and Earl S. Blendl, both of the city; two grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Frank, Mrs. Catherine Frank, Misses Margaret and Theresa Blendl, all of Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. Annie Renner of the city. Mrs. Blendl was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. Friends will be received at the home after 5 o'clock this afternoon. BLENDL - The funeral of George A. Blendl of 1532 First avenue will be held Tuesday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
