Boate, aged 9 months and 13 days, died yesterday noon at the home of Mr. Boate's parents, George and M. E. Boate, 2314 Broad street, of cholera infantum. The home at the street and number named has truly been a spot of sorrow and affliction since the latter half of September last set in. Sickness and death has reigned there supreme in all these days. Little Cleo had been kept isolated from the diphtheria which has existed in that home for the past three months. That dread disease she had been kept clear of, only to fall a victim of some other disease productive of intense suffering, an element of sickness which has characterized the four recent deaths in the family. But "the good die young" and the declaration of the Savior while upon earth that "of such is the kingdom of heaven"’ should be to the living a guarantee that the future existence of the little ones will be of that ineffable happiness unknown to and unexperienced by mortal as mortals. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday, January 20, 1892, page 1
