All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ ARTHUR McCULLOGH BOGGS A boilermaker in the E. & M. shops, Pennsylvania railroad, of 1002 Broadway, Juniata, died at the Altoona hospital at 2.52 o'clock yesterday morning after a three months' illness. He was born on Sept. 19, 1897, at Eschol, Pa., the son of William and Maggie Jane (Copenhaver) Boggs, and was united in marriage to Minnie Straitiff. Surviving are his wife, these children: Miss Jane Ellen Boggs of Philadelphia; Lt. Kenneth S. Boggs, army air corps, Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Paul Stoner, and two brothers, Harry K. of New Bloomfield, R.D. and Bruce Alexander of Lancaster. Mr. Boggs was transferred to Altoona from Sunbury 21 years ago. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church, Juniata and the B.R.R.S.C. of America, Altoona Works local, Nov. 42. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. BOGGS - Funeral services for Arthur McCullogh Boggs, 1002 Broadway, Juniata, will be held at the late home Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Ralph W. Birk of the Trinity Lutheran church. Interment in Grandview cemetery. Friends are being received at the home. Altoona Mirror, April 29, 1946
