Local Brevities.

  At 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home in Newry Mrs. Eliza 
Boggs died of inflammation of the bowels, at the age of 40 years.  She 
was the wife of Alexander Boggs and besides her husband leaves six 
children.  Mrs. Boggs was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church 
and her funeral will take place to-morrow.  We did not learn the hour.

Local Brevities.

  The funeral of the late Mrs. Alexander Boggs, of Newry, will take 
place at 10 o'clock this morning, the services being held in St. 
Patrick's Catholic church at Newry.  We were in error yesterday in 
stating the deceased was a member of the Methodist church.
