George Bonnell, of Tyrone, met his death at Jersey Shore yesterday morning, while at work on the Beech Creek railroad. He was engaged in braking in the railroad yard at Jersey Shore Junction at 4 o'clock yesterday morning, when he was caught between bumpers. He was so terribly crushed that he died at 10 o'clock. Bonnell was about 20 years of age and went to Jersey Shore from Tyrone, where his parents reside. Deceased was a member of the P.O.S. of A. of Snow Shoe. The remains will be taken to Tyrone for burial. Bonnell's father is an engineer on the Pennsylvania Central railway. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Friday Evening, March 24, 1893
