Bonsell, formerly of Tyrone and a resident of the Mayo Nursing Home, Somerton, Philadelphia, for the past year, died Tuesday at 5:45 a.m. at the nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was born July 20, 1888, at Spruce Creek, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Alley. She was married on June 20,1908, to Chester C. Bonsell, who died Jan. 20, 1979. They had been married for 70 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Norman C. (Nellie) Miller, of Levittown. She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by one son, Harry, and one brother. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tyrone and was once a member of the Lilies of the Valley of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fred O. Dickerson officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 2. to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, February 28, 1979
