Bonsell, 221 East 10th st., died Monday morning at 6:40 o'clock in the Tyrone Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born Sept. 10, 1883, in Spruce Creek, the son of Henry and Nellie (Love) Bonsell. On June 28, 1906 in Tyrone he married Anna C. Miller. He had been a resident of Tyrone since 1904. Surviving are the widow, a son, Earl S. Bonsell, Spruce Creek; a daughter Mrs. Mildred Gladfelter, Juniata; a brother, Henry Bonsell, Berea, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Koener, Tyrone; three grandchildren. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church, Tyrone Lodge No. 212, B.P.O. Elks, Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Company, the B. of R.T. He retired Sept. 30, 1953, after 51 years and six months service on the PRR as Conductor. Funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Johnson funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Budd R. Smith. Burial will be in the Eastlawn Cemetery.
