Bonsell of 1021 Bald Eagle Avenue, Tyrone, Pa. was found dead in his home Saturday, February 14, 1970. Deputy Coroner William T. Crawford of Blair County estimated he died on Thursday, the result of a heart attack. He was born July 1, 1901 at Spruce Creek, a son of Leonard and Margaret (Love) Bonsell. He never married. Surviving are two brothers, Chester of Tyrone and Arthur Clair Bonsell of Tyrone R.D. 3., Decker Hollow, Pa. [near Tyrone]. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was of the Protestant faith. Mr. Bonsell belonged to the Anderson Denny Post No. 4559, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tyrone and was a member of Tyrone Loyal Order of Moose, Tyrone. He was a veteran of World War II. He was last employed at the West End Bowling Lanes, Tyrone, retiring in 1964. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Johnson Funeral Home.
