Viola May Bonsell 
 
  Mrs. Viola May Bonsell, 75, of Grazierville, Tyrone R.D. 5, died 
Wednesday, May 29, 1991, at 6 a.m. at her home following a brief 
illness.  She was born April 12, 1916, at Tyrone, the daughter of Edgar 
L. and Margaret (Cherry) Parks.  On Oct. 24, 1934, at Tyrone, she was 
married by the Reverend Ben Salter to Ernest J. "Archie" Bonsell.  He 
died June 1, 1986.  She is survived by two sons, E. Durwood Bonsell of 
Bald Eagle and Gary R. Bonsell of Bellwood; three grandsons; one 
granddaughter; one great-granddaughter and two sisters; Mrs. Wilbert 
(Julia) McCaulley of Bellwood and Mrs. Stewart (Laura) Dickson of 
Greencastle.  She was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald G. 
Bonsell.  She was a member of the Grazierville United Methodist Church, 
had served as church pianist for a number of years and was a member of 
the Win-One Sunday School Class.  Funeral service will be held Saturday 
at 10:30 a.m. at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home with the Reverend 
Dale E. Parker officiating.  Interment will be at Grazierville 
Cemetery.  Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 2 
to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of 
the service.  Contributions in her memory may be made to the 
Grazierville United Methodist Church, Box 184, Tyrone R.D.3 or to the 
American Diabetes Association, Room 216, 1207 12th Avenue Altoona, Pa.
