ROBERT D. BOOKHAMER

Died at his home, 215 Lexington avenue, last evening at 6:30 of
typhoid fever after an illness of six weeks.  The deceased was born at
Springfield Mills, this county, June 4, 1867.  He had lived in this
city the greater part of his life and was employed as a brakeman on
the Altoona division.  He is survived by his wife and one child, Ralph
C.  He is also survived by his father, James Bookhamer, of Walnut
avenue, and the following brothers and sisters: Jesse, Thomas, William
and Gwin; and Misses Elsie and Mary, all of Altoona.  The remains will
be taken to Martinsburg tomorrow morning for interment.
