DIED.

BOOSE - On the 6th inst., in this city, Daniel E. Boose, aged 18 years and 
10 months.
  The funeral will take place from his father's residence, on Sixth avenue 
and Ninth street, this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and proceed to Fairview 
cemetery.

Things Briefly Told.

  Daniel E. Boose, who lived on the corner of Sixth avenue and Ninth street, 
had for some days been very ill from typhoid fever, which resulted fatally 
on Saturday.  He had just returned from a trip to the West when seized with 
sickness.  The funeral will take place from his residence at 2 o'clock to-
day.
