On Wednesday morning at 4.50 o'clock Miss Sarah Bossler, aged 62 years, of Davenport, Ia., died at the home of her niece, Mrs. A. K. Millin, No. 507 Thirteenth street, this city, of paralysis. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Watson and Mrs. Susan Lykens, both of Davenport, Ia. Deceased came to the east on Thanksgiving Day to visit friends and was stopping with her two nieces, Mrs. C. P. Weston and Mrs. A. K. Mullin. She was born at Clover Creek, near Williamsburg, but for the last fifty years had resided in Iowa. It has been nineteen years since her last visit here, and she had expected to remain until spring. Many of the older residents of Blair county remember her, and it will be with regret that they learn of her death. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed, but more than likely her remains will be sent to Davenport for interment. Morning Tribune, Thursday, December 30, 1897 FUNERAL NOTICE.
