Bowers and a former resident of Martinsburg, died Friday morning at the home of her foster daughter, Mrs. H. L. Obenour, 605 Logan avenue, Lakemont, death being attributed to a heart ailment. She was a daughter of Jacob P. and Elizabeth Dick and was born in Indiana county on Jan. 30, 1860. Surviving are one brother, Martin Dick of Penn Run, Indiana county, and four half-brothers and one half-sister, William Dick of Woodbine, Ia., James and Frank Dick of Indiana, Pa., James [Jacob - ed.] M. Dick and Mrs. Annie Haden [Hadden - ed.] of Penn Run, and the foster daughter, Mrs. Obenour, at whose home she died. Mrs. Bowers was a member of the Martinsburg Church of God. Friends are being received at the Obenour home prior to the funeral. Pencil-dated 5/7 BOWERS - Funeral services for the late Mrs. Nancy Bowers, formerly of Martinsburg, will be conducted by Rev. E. F. Berger of the Church of God. Services will be held at the Martinsburg church of God on Monday at 2.30 p.m. Interment following in Spring Hope cemetery.
