SARAH SNIVELY BOWERS Mrs. Sarah Snively Bowers died at 8:45 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her son, W. Albert Bowers, of Martinsburg, of diseases incident to old age. She was aged 85 years and was born at Snively's Mills, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Snively. She was married September 6, 1849, to Henry Hunt Bowers, who died a number of years ago. In addition to the son at whose home she died, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. May Lessel, of Omaha, Neb.; G. D. Bowers, of Missouri; Frank, of East Freedom; John, of Altoona; C. J., of Seattle, Wash.; Samuel, of St. Louis, Mo.; and Luther, of Arkansas. One sister, Mrs. Jacob Higgins, of Henrietta, also survives. Mrs. Bowers was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, of this city. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning, in charge of the Rev. Charles F. Ulrich, pastor of the local church, assisted by the Rev. J. I. Hall, pastor of the Brethren church, of Martinsburg. Interment will be made in the Spring Hope cemetery.
