SHARON LOUISE BOWERS 

  Sharon Louise Bowers, 40, of 1912 8th Ave., Altoona, died Thursday, 
Aug. 23, 2007, at the Altoona Regional Health System-Altoona Hospital 
Campus.
  She was born Sept. 17, 1966, in Altoona, the daughter of Betty 
(Adams) Schilling.
  She is survived by her mother; a son, Scott A. Bowers Sr.; a 
daughter, Petra Rodriguez; two grandchildren, Scott A. Bowers Jr. and 
Haley Lynn Bowers; a brother, Russell E. Bowers, and a sister, Tammy 
Lee Frye, all of Altoona; and her best friend, Annette Caramadre of 
Bellwood.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers.
  She was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and enjoyed playing 
bingo.
  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at 11 a.m. 
at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor John Pine 
officiating. There will be no viewing, but the family will receive 
friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Tuesday.
  Following services, family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. for a 
social at the Pinecroft Fire Hall.
