Death of Rev. William B. Bowers.

  Rev. William B. Bowers, brother of Mr. George B. Bowers, of 
Hollidaysburg, died at his residence in Philadelphia, Sunday last, in 
the 75th year of his age.  The deceased will be remembered, no doubt, 
by numbers of our citizens, as officiating at the organization of the 
Protestant Episcopal Church in this city.  He was also well-known 
throughout the Juniata valley as a supply under the Bishop, preaching 
in Huntingdon, Lewistown and other places.  He continued his 
ministerial labors until increasing years and infirmities compelled him 
to relinquish them.
