BOWMAN

  Herbert Dunlap Bowman, died at his home, 227 Seventh avenue, Juniata, 
at 3:20 o'clock Saturday afternoon, of pneumonia, following influenza.  
He was employed as an engineer on the Middle division.  He was born 
March 6, 1877 and spent his entire life in this vicinity, where he was 
well known.  He was a member of the Odd Fellows, Sons of Veterans, 
lodge No. 12 and P.R.R. Relief and the railroad brotherhoods.  Besides 
his wife he is survived by the following children: Almeda, Harold, 
Pauline and Luther.  The remains will be taken to Mapleton tomorrow 
where services will be held.
