His death was due to paralysis, which caused him to take his bed over a year ago. He was a member of the Reformed church at Claysburg for many years and a very active worker in his church. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Ella at home, Mrs. Jacob Long of Osterburg, Mrs. Abraham Morehead of Imler, Bedford county; also by one grandson, Sewell Sock, with whom he made his home. Funeral services were held in the Reformed church at 2 p.m. today, conducted by his pastor, Rev. J. D. Hunsicker. Interment was made in the Reformed cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Monday, January 1, 1906
