DORIS MAXINE BOYER Mrs. Doris Maxine Boyer, 214 Howard avenue, died at the Altoona hospital Saturday night at 11:45 o'clock. She was born in Ramey, Jan. 12, 1918, the daughter of John A. and Susan (Fetters) Sloey. Members of the family include her husband, Paul C. Boyer and her parents of Tyrone; three sisters, Mrs. Howard Woodring of Tyrone, Mrs. W. I. Edmundson of Altoona; and Mrs. Howard Fagley of Martinsburg, W. Va.; five brothers, Grant Sloey of Detroit, Mich., Carl Sloey of Pittsburg, Summerfield of Altoona, Lewis of Juniata, and Howard of Altoona. Mrs. Boyer was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Tyrone and was a member of the Onward and Upward Bible class of the First Methodist church of Juniata. Friends are being received at the Mauk and Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock this evening.
