Those Who Have Joined the Innumerable Host Beyond the Silent River. Mrs. Hugh Bracken, formerly a resident of this city, died Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock at her residence in Philadelphia, to which place she went from here about five years ago. She came to Altoona thirty years ago and made her home in Logantown until her going to Philadelphia, She was born in county Longforth, Ireland, and at the time of death was 55 years old. Beside her husband she leaves four children, who are Maggie, Joseph, Julia and Hugh Bracken, and a brother, Mr. Michael Hyland, of this city. The interment took place in the Catholic cemetery at Summit, Cambria county, where four of her children are buried.
