Hugh Bradley of Hollidaysburg was operated on at the Altoona hospital several days ago for bowel trouble and has since been lying in a critical condition. Capt. Bradley is seventy-six years of age and resided in Johnstown for many years before going to Hollidaysburg several years ago. He is the father of Mrs. Edward W. Bailey of Johnstown and Mrs. Robert Scanlan of Ebensburg. Cambria Freeman, Ebensburg, Pa., Friday, April 30, 1909 Capt. Bradley Dead Cambria County people were greatly shocked to learn last Sunday of the death the preceding evening of Capt. Hugh Bradley, for a long time a resident of Johnstown, but lately of Altoona. The deceased was 75 years of age. Funeral services were held in Hollidaysburg Tuesday. Capt. Bradley was married three times. His third wife survives him. The following children, born to his first wife, survive: Edward R. Bradley, owner of the Del Prado Hotel in Chicago and a stock raiser of note in Kentucky; John Roger Bradley, a stock broker in New York and a hunter and traveler of international fame; Peter Garvey Bradley of Boston, Mass.; Mary E., wife of Robert Scanlan, cashier of the American National Bank of Ebensburg and Catherine, wife of Edward Bailey of Johnstown.
