GEORGE BRANDT

Former resident of Altoona, residing in Trenton, N. J., for the past
19 months died Sunday evening at 8 o'clock at Trenton, suffering from
a complication of diseases.  He was 84 years of age and was born on
August 10, 1848, a son of William and Anna [s/b Roseann Wade Brandt.
He was a carpenter and was employed for many years by his brother, the
late Frank Brandt, Altoona contractor.  Surviving are one sister, Mrs.
George Seabolt of Lilly, several nieces and nephews.  The remains may
be viewed at the E. W. Jones funeral home anytime prior to the funeral
which will be held on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock with requiem mass
at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.  Interment will follow in
Calvary Cemetery.
