She was born in Altoona July 2, 1883, a daughter of John G. and Catherine (Wilson) Hay and married Linfred S. Brannin, who died in 1945. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church and of the Woman's Bible class. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Lewis Carothers, Wilbur Brannin and Mrs. Robert Rightnour of Altoona, seven grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. George Stafford, James H and Robert A. Hay, Mrs. H. O. Woolson and Thomas R. Hay, all of Altoona; Mrs. Emil Maillard of Philadelphia and Mrs. Ernest Platthy of Chicago.
