Brantner, wife of Porter Brantner, died at her home on Plum street, Williamsburg, on Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock of pneumonia following influenza, after an illness of one week. She was the daughter of Benjamin, deceased, and Lucy Thompson, and was born in Altoona, April 20, 1876, being aged 42 years, 6 months and 10 days. She was a member of the Williamsburg Methodist church. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Jesse, somewhere in France; Anna, Nealy, Nellie and David at home. Also by her mother, Mrs. Lucy Thompson of Altoona and two brothers and a sister, Elmer Thompson, Mrs. Adda Harries and Harry Thompson, all of Altoona. Private funeral services will be held at her late home in Williamsburg in charge of her pastor, Rev. C. T. Dunning, pastor of the Methodist church, this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
