Brenneman, 90, formerly of 10 Cottage St., Tyrone, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 11:26 p.m. at Tyrone Hospital. She was born February 3, 1916 in Tyrone a daughter of Frank and Marie Elizabeth (Beyer) Thomas. On January 29, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland she married Harry J. Brenneman. He died in 1950. Surviving are two daughters Kay Anderson of Vail and Jane Shultz and husband Donald of Grazierville; a son, Harold and wife Sally of Warriors Mark; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; several great- great-grandchildren and a sister, LaRue Dean, a guest at Olivia's Village, Bald Eagle. She was preceded in death by a son Harry (Chet, Jr.) in 1997, a daughter, Betty Brenneman in 1998, a great-grandson, Kenneth J. Wolfe in 1999, two brothers and a sister. Mrs. Brenneman was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Tyrone and the Railroad Retirement Auxiliary. Dorothy was a loving mother and homemaker to her five children. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. P. William Glunt officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
