Robert Bressler, While Swimming in a Dam, Sinks Beneath the Surface. Mr. Robert Bressler, while swimming in the dam yesterday afternoon near Bellwood, was drowned. Young Bressler, who was 17 years old, was with several other lads when the accident occurred, but unfortunately they were unable to render the needful assistance in time to save the boy's life. The death came as quite a blow to his parents, doubly so under the circumstances. The deceased, a son of Lemuel Bressler, of Bellwood, was born at Dry Hollow, near Warriorsmark. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, George, of South Fork; also one sister, Ada, and two brothers, Matthew and Samuel, all at home. The remains will be taken today to Warriorsmark for interment. Altoona Times, Saturday, July 4, 1903
