Isaac Briner died at the Blair county hospital Tuesday afternoon at 12:35 o'clock, of Bright's disease. The body was taken in charge by Funeral Director G. E. Fuoss, of Bellwood, and removed to the home of his son, Abram Briner, 1467 Logan avenue, Tyrone. Mr. Briner was born February 14, 1851. He is survived by two sons, Abram, of Tyrone, and C. R. Briner, of Norfolk, Va. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of his son in Tyrone, the services to be conducted by Rev. E. G. Sawyer, pastor of the United Brethren church. Interment in East Lawn cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Thursday, January 16, 1919, page 4
