Brisbin, son of Lawrence and Mary Brisbin, corner of Twenty-first street and Columbia avenue, died of diphtheria Tuesday morning at 9.30. Born at Unionville, Centre county, June 25, 1899, he would soon have been five years old. He had taken ill with grip, and on Monday it developed into diptheria. The funeral was held Wednesday at Unionville. There yet survive to mourn their loss, his father and mother; four brothers, Guyer, Homer, William and Samuel; and three sisters, Agnes, Flora and Margaret. He was a bright, intelligent little boy. A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God in his wisdom has recalled, The boon his love had given, And though the body moulders here, The soul is safe in Heaven. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., Thursday, March 24, 1904
