Brisbin, Tyrone RD 3, near Vail, died Tuesday at 11:30 p.m. at Tyrone Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 23, 1890, at Lemont, Centre County, the son of Lawrence P. and Agnes Lindamuth Brisbin. He was married Dec. 25, 1911, to Viola Price, who died in 1939. He had resided in Tyrone area since 1900. Surviving are a son, Harrison, San Fernando, Calif., and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lucas, Tyrone, and Mrs. Jack Reed, Tyrone RD; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, also a brother, Guy, of Tyrone; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Yarnall, Tyrone; a half sister, Mrs. Margaret Calderwood, Tyrone. He was a member of the Birmingham Methodist Church, and was a carpenter, retiring in 1960. Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Ralph Illingworth. Burial will be in Blair Memorial Park. Friends are being received at the funeral home. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., November 2, 1961
