Brobeck, age 91, of RD4 Tyrone died October 10, 2006 at Altoona Center for Nursing following an extended illness. He was born March 14, 1915 in Tyrone, a son of Mary M. (Spacht) Brobeck and Homer D. Brobeck. He was twice married, first to Alice Burns who survives and then on August 21, 1959 in Warriors Mark he married Alice Mae Smith. She died August 23, 2001. He is survived by two daughters: Edna Mae and husband Camille George of Houtzdale and Shelva Miller of Tyrone; one stepdaughter: Patricia and husband Charles Jr. Kustenbauder of Warriors Mark; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and one sister: Hazel Fernberg of Meadeville. He was preceded in death by three children: Daniel, Robert and Gladys; two sisters: Marie and Goldie and two brothers: Ted and Harold. Mr. Brobeck was a founding member and life member of the Logan Valley Broncs Saddle Club. He was also a member of Bellwood Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Funeral services will be held October 13, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark with Rev. Peggy Bonsell. Place of burial is Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, October 12, 2006
