MRS. EDNA BROOKINS

A native of Altoona residing in Cleveland, Ohio, died there Friday 
evening. She was born Sept. 18, 1889, a daughter of Martin H. and Cora 
(Knepper) Glass, and was twice married, first to Mahlon Beck and, 
following his death, to Harry Brookins, who also preceded her in death. 
Surviving are four children, Earle Beck in California, Wilford, Nevitt 
and Mrs. Dick Kuhn of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren and five brothers and 
sisters, Burtin K. in Colorado, Ruth and Mrs. Irma Covell of Cleveland, 
Mrs. Grace Stauffer of Williamsburg and Mrs. Annetta Edwards of 
Altoona. Mrs. Brookins was of the Christian Science faith. Interment 
will be made in Altoona.
