The deceased was born in Rainsburg, Bedford county, on May 8, 1862, being consequently aged 37 years and 12 days. Her death was due to a complication of diseases and she had been seriously ill since Wednesday of last week. Her husband, Orlando Brown, survives her, as does also one daughter, Ray, and one son, Eddie. Her mother and father are also living, as are these brothers and sisters, all residing in this city: Mrs. Emma Simpson, Mrs. Laura Stiffler, Mrs. Alice Renner, Mrs. John Peck, Miss Daisy Reed, Miss May Reed, John R., Edward and Richard Reed. She was a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist Episcopal church. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, the services being conducted at the house.
