Brown died on Monday evening at 5 o'clock at his home at Nealmont after a seven days' illness from pneumonia. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Brown and was born Jan. 8, 1889. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Brown, and four daughters, Marian, Katharine, Dorothy and Elizabeth; also his mother, Mrs. A. M. Brown of Nealmont; two brothers and a sister, William of Mt. Union, Blaine of Tyrone and Miss Rebecca, at home. Private funeral services will be held at the home this morning at 10 o'clock. The body will be taken to Milroy for interment. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday Morning, October 30, 1918 HARRISON BROWN DEAD. Harrison Brown of Nealmont, Tyrone's live suburb, passed away Monday evening after a hard battle with pneumonia, following the usual siege with influenza. Benjamin Harrison Brown was well known in Tyrone and vicinity and for a number of years had been weigh master for the American Lime & Stone company at their Tyrone Forges plant. He was the son of A. M. Brown, the late president of the Farmers & Merchants bank and was born at Milroy, Pa., January 8, 1889. The family moved to Nealmont after residing for several years at Pennsylvania Furnace. He was united in marriage in 1908 with Miss Bessie Myers, who survives with 4 small daughters, viz.: Marion, Kathleen, Elizabeth and Dorothy. His father passed away several years ago. Surviving are his mother, one brother, Blaine and one sister, Rebecca at home, and a half brother, William of Mount Union, Pa. He was a member of the First Lutheran church. Private services will be held at the late home at Nealmont this morning at 10 o'clock in charge of his pastor, Rev. J. P. Miller. The cortege will leave on the 11.57 train for Milroy, Pa., where further services will be held by Rev. C. T. Aiken, D.D., president of Susquehanna University.
