ELSIE M. BROWN 

  Elsie M. Brown, a guest at Epworth Manor, Methodist Home For the Aged 
here since May 5, 1966, died there at 8.45 a. m. on Saturday.
  She was born Feb. 10, 1877, at Altoona.  She was married to Wilbur 
Brown, who died in 1951.
  Surviving are a son, Paul W., of New Paris, Ohio, and a daughter, 
Mrs. E. Kalkhurst, of New York City.  She was a member of the First 
United Methodist Church of Altoona.
  Funeral service was held today at 1 p. m. at the Johnson Funeral 
Home, in charge of Dr. John E. Stamm, administrative assistant, at 
Epworth Manor.  Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona.
