Brown died at his home. . . avenue, at 12:15 o'clock. . . morning, of pneumonia, following a brief illness. He was employed with the P.R.R. as a flue maker. He was born in this city on October 3, 1869, the son of Michael and Elizabeth Brown, and had resided all his life in this city. He was married on February 5, 1890, to Miss Molly McCormick, of Hollidaysburg, and is survived by his wife and two children, Desland and Anna, both at home. Three brothers also survive - Charles, of Wilkinsburg; Attorney Clyde E. Brown and Walter A. Brown, of this city. He was a member of the First Baptist church and the P.R.R. relief. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with private services at the home. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Remains may be viewed from 7 to 9 o'clock this evening at the home. In the 1870 census of Altoona, Michael and Elizabeth Brown have a son Herbert, age 2, and a son Clyde, age 4. In the 1910 census of Altoona, page 209B, Herbert G., age 41, and Mary A. Brown, age 40, reside at 1528 Third avenue with two children, Anna E. and Geraldine M.
