Mrs. Margaret Brown, wife of James Brown, of 2026 Sixth avenue, died on Saturday evening at 10.45 o'clock of pneumonia, after a short illness. She was born in County Donegal, Ireland, in 1844 and came to the United States later and was married to James Brown, by Rev. Allen Sheldon Woodle, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal church, in 1871. She is survived by one brother, Robert, in Ireland and one sister, Mrs. Kearney, of Philadelphia. She is also survived by one son and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held in St. Luke's Episcopal church on Tuesday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, December 16, 1918
