Mrs. Mary Anna Brown died at 8:10 o'clock last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. G. Otto of 605 Second avenue, Juniata. She was born on July 12, 1845, at Claysburg, the daughter of Daniel and Margaret Shock (deceased). The following children survive: Mrs. J. C. Riley, Mrs. Margaret Crouse, of this city; Oliver H. Brown, Daniel A. Brown, Mrs. T. G. Otto at whose home she died; besides three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Julia Ebersole, Mrs. Jacob Carn, Mrs. Scott Feathers, and Jacob Shock, all of Claysburg; and John Shock, of this city. She was a member of the Methodist church. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at a time to be announced later. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
